New Alan Wake 2 patch won’t fix PS5 Pro issues, but Remedy is working on a solution

Alan Wake 2‘s latest update doesn’t address PS5 Pro issues, but Remedy has said that it’s “researching” performance issues on Sony‘s premium console.

Title update 1.2.5 is rolling out on all platforms now. You can read the full patch notes below, but one thing that isn’t included is any updates regarding PS5 Pro. Some users have reported image quality and performance issues following the game’s PS5 Pro update, which was released earlier this month.

“The PlayStation 5 update (1.200.005) does not contain anything PlayStation 5 Pro specific, but we wanted to acknowledge that we are seeing your feedback,” said Remedy.

“We are still researching a few things on the Pro when it comes to improved performance. We’ll keep you posted. As PS5 Pro support was a work of many months, it will take the team longer than a few weeks for changes and improvements. Thank you for understanding!”

Alan Wake 2 is the latest PS5 Pro enhanced game to face issues following the release of the console. Both Silent Hill 2 and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor faced criticism for issues with their PS5 Pro enhancements, although Konami’s horror game has now seemingly been fixed.
