Searchlight Pictures has shared a brand new BTS video for its forthcoming biographical drama, starring Timothée Chalamet as iconic folk-rock singer-songwriter Bob Dylan. The movie is slated to arrive in theaters next month on December 25, 2024, pitting the film directly against Focus Features’ gothic horror Nosferatu and Paramount Pictures’ Robbie Williams musical biopic Better Man.
“Set in the influential New York music scene of the early 60s, the film follows 19-year-old Minnesota musician Bob Dylan’s meteoric rise as a folk singer to concert halls and the top of the charts — his songs and mystique becoming a worldwide sensation — culminating in his groundbreaking electric rock and roll performance at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965,” reads the film’s official synopsis.
