Terah the Geomancer can be found at the top of the Bedrock Pass plateau, in the northwestern section of the Dunley Farmlands. The Pass is a long winding road with two entrances, that is fairly devoid of any roaming enemies, and contains a healthy supply of various ores and minerals for you to mine.
However, one key enemy does patrol the Pass — a Stone Golem. You may have encountered these on your adventures so far, and you should remember them as a dangerous, high-health adversary. The Golem will move slowly around the roads, and while it is extremely aggressive towards you, your best bet is to dodge its path or try to run past it and let it drop aggro. Otherwise, you can simply kill it as a warm-up for the boss.
Terah the Geomancer is always found in the same location, and so the use of your Blood Altar is not strictly necessary.
