Playing a Smurfs game is a weird experience. You would struggle to find anyone on the planet who hasn’t heard of the Smurfs, yet does anyone actually like them? I mean, really? They’re as recognisable as Garfield or SpongeBob or maybe even The Simpsons, and yet, have you ever met anybody that would claim to be a Smurfs fan? The Smurfs: Mission Vileaf won’t result in any new Smurf aficionados, but it does make me wish more of them existed in the first place.
