Because time no longer exists, it has already been a whole fortnight since we all sat down to watch Geoff Keighley and an array of publishers and developers showcase their wares during the Summer Game Fest live stream — and it appears that the show has been a tremendous success, breaking its own viewership records for the third year running.
According to a tweet posted by host and organizer Keighley, Summer Game Fest 2022 — which broadcast on the afternoon of June 9 — hit a peak concurrent 3.5 million viewers during the course of its 90-minute runtime.
Over 6,000 accounts co-streamed the broadcast, while “Twitter Conversation” was up 100% on last year’s stream, with the usage of “#thegameawards” hashtag up by 69%.
