The Chant's teaser trailer, which comes from PlayStation's official account, offers a brief look at what seems like an idyllic island with a peculiar dome structure where individuals gather. Having arrived with the goal of enlightenment, different characters come together on a spiritual journey in similar white outfits before candles on the floor. The tease shows easily missable flashes of eerie imagery if fans blink, such as a humanoid figure with antlers, although only instances of psychological horror are identified in this cinematic teaser.
Characters are aware that a group in the 70s was here before them, which may imply that there are cultish underpinnings to the retreat and the island itself.
