A trick discovered in Pokémon Legends: Arceus allows for players to cross bodies of water without unlocking the Basculegion mount. Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the newest title in the RPG Pokémon franchise. For many fans, Arceus is a breath of fresh air due to the semi-open world concept and immersive gameplay
The developer Game Freak has emphasized exploring the environment in Arceus, something that differs from other Pokémon games. While capturing and battling 'mons in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, trainers use stealth and skill to investigate the area efficiently. The addition of mountable Pokémon in Arceus aids in the player's ability to explore Sinnoh efficiently. One of these mounts is the water/ghost type Pokémon Basculegion. It is a fish-like Pokémon the trainer can ride through the water — since the action of swimming is not included in Arceus, players will drown if they even try. However, Basculegion is not available at the beginning of the game, and some areas can not be reached unless the player crosses the water.
