Recent behind-the-scenes images from The Orville: New Horizons show one actor's gruesome demon transformation. The science-fiction comedy series, originally branded as The Orville, premiered on Fox in 2017 where it aired for two seasons before moving to Hulu, a decision that supported creator Seth MacFarlane's ambitious production goals and subsequent release strategy. Inspired by Star Trek, the show follows the various adventures of the crew on board the titular exploratory space vessel in the Planetary Union, an interstellar alliance of Earth and other planets made 400 years in the future.
