Andrew Garfield Teams With Deadpool 2 Director For Surprising TV Show
On the heels of making his major TV debut, Andrew Garfield is teaming with Deadpool 2 director David Leitch for the TV show Hot Air. The six-part limited series is based on Martyn Gregory's «Dirty Tricks» novel, which chronicled Richard Branson's launching of Virgin Atlantic and and British Airways' campaign to try and regain their dominance over the United Kingdom flight market. British Airways memorably tried to impersonate Virgin employees to gain insider information on their competition, as well as falsify negative media stories, all of which culminated in a lawsuit that ended with British Airways publicly apologizing and settling Virgin's legal costs plus damages.
