A crime thriller based on Sarah Alderson’s novel of the same name, The Weekend Away tells the story of two best friends and what happens when their planned fun vacation takes a turn for the worst. Executive produced by Alderson and directed by Kim Farrant, who previously helmed the Nicole Kidman drama Strangerland in addition to the 2019 thriller Angel of Mine, the thriller is set to make its premiere on March 3.
