John Carter director Andrew Stanton has revealed previously unheard plot details for the movie's planned sequels. It has now officially been ten years to the date that John Carter was released in theaters. Despite being helmed by Stanton, who directed the critical and financial smash hits, Finding Nemo and WALL-E, and based on one of the most influential science-fiction stories of all time, the movie that was released was a box-office bomb that Disney ended up taking a $200 million dollar to loss just ten days after its release.
