Hitchcockian Netflix Thriller Windfall Gets Release Date
Netflix's new noir thriller Windfall gets an official release date. The popular streaming platform acquired the film in July 2021 in a massive 8-figure deal after production wrapped earlier that year. Being billed as a «Hitchcockian» thriller, Windfall follows a wealthy couple who find a man breaking into their vacation home. Charlie McDowell, son of iconic actor Malcolm McDowell, directs the film from a script by Justin Lader (The Discovery) and Andrew Kevin Walker (Se7en).
