Normal People Star Was Excited To Move On From Marianne in New Movie
Star of the hit Hulu romantic drama Normal People, Daisy Edgar-Jones has opened-up on her excitement for audiences to see her in a completely different kind of role in her new film Fresh. Written by Lauryn Kahn and directed by Mimi Cave, Fresh sees Noa (Edgar-Jones), a woman who has become highly disillusioned with dating, falling for the seemingly charming and friendly «Steve» (Sebastian Stan). But as the pair continue with their new-found relationship, it becomes clear that the man is not all that he seems and «Steve» has a horribly disturbing ulterior motive. Since its premiere online at the Sundance Film Festival, Fresh has gone-on to garner a number of positive reviews, particularly for its spin on the horrors of modern dating.
