The wife of a Witcher 3: Wild Hunt fan asked voice actor Doug Cockle to deliver a Christmas message to her husband in Geralt of Rivia's voice. Doug Cockle has voiced the White Wolf since CD Projekt Red's first Witcher game, which hit PC in 2007 to minimal fanfare. A sequel, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, launched in 2011 and received plenty of critical acclaim, though the series continued to fly under the radar in most circles.
