Tokyo Xtreme Racer launches in Early Access on January 23

Tokyo Xtreme Racer will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on January 23, developer Genki announced. It is expected to remain in Early Access for approximately four months.

The Early Access version of the game will feature the story playable up until roughly the halfway mark, with a focus on “Spirit Point Battle” and car tuning features, and over 200 rival characters each with their own unique storylines, 50 playable cars, and over 180 kilometers of the Shuto Expressway to race upon.

Player skill gains, a new feature for the franchise, is also included in the Early Access release. The full release will include additional storylines, vehicles, and rival characters, as well as other improvements and fixes to various potential issues that appear throughout the course of Early Access.
