The release date for Ryan Coogler’s has been bumped back. Sinners is a new mysterious horror movie directed by Coogler that stars Michael B.
Jordan. It was originally supposed to be released in United States theaters on April 2, 2025. Warner Bros. Pictures has now announced that Sinners has been pushed back by a little more than a month.
It will now open in United States theaters on April 18, 2025, as well as in IMAX. Sinners has switched release dates with Bong Joon-ho’s Mickey 17, which stars Robert Pattinson, as that sci-fi film now opens on April 7, 2025. “Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers (Jordan) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back,” the synopsis for Sinners reads.
Along with Jordan (Black Panther, Creed) in a dual role, the film stars Hailee Steinfeld (Bumblebee, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse), Jack O’Connell (Ferrari), Wunmi Mosaku (Passenger), Jayme Lawson (The Woman King), Omar Benson Miller (True Lies) and Delroy Lindo (Da 5 Bloods).
Coogler produces the movie alongside Sev Ohanian and Zinzi Coogler. Ludwig Göransson, Will Greenfield, and Rebecca Cho serve as executive producers.
