Pokemon Scarlet and Violet brought a lot of new Pokemon into the franchise, but players are now debating which ones are the most forgettable.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have introduced 114 new monsters to the Pokedex, including the ones in the base game and monsters added through DLC, but they weren't all created equal in players' minds.
Releasing in November 2022, the pair of games taking place in the Paldea Region are not the most well-received among Pokemon players, earning Pokemon Scarlet and Violet middling reviews from critics and mostly negative fan reviews on Metacritic.
Still, the pair of games took the series in a new direction as the first mainline Pokemon game to take place in a fully open-world setting, which has set it apart from games in the previous eight generations.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet also gave players a lot more options for building their teams, offering up more new Pokemon than any game since Generation 5.
