In a surprising turn of events, Avowed, the latest title being developed by Obsidian Entertainment, can be purchased using WoW Gold and WoW Tokens. Admittedly, the process to do so is incredibly convoluted and quite time-consuming. However, if you have a ton of gold knocking about in World of Warcraft that you don't know what to use it on, Avowed is certainly an option. If you want to use WoW Gold but don't quite have enough to be able to purchase the $70 game, you will have until February 18, 2025, as that is when the game officially releases.

As it is in Groundhog Day, so it is being a farmlife sim fan. In many lifetimes I have woken up as the inheritor of an overgrown property, been given a watering can, hoe, and five carrot seeds, and been the new-in-town novelty to a bunch of rural neighbours. Everholm isn't different there, but it does come with its own extra layer of surrealism. Because everyone in Everholm already knows your name.

It’s been slower going than I’d hoped with the PS5 Pro’s enhanced lineup of games, as I wrangle together all the video clips and comparison points I need. I’m close to completing our Insomniac games round-up though, and I’m convinced that they’re the single best development studio out there this generation. Who else has managed to deliver three games in four years, pushing the boundaries for console graphics and world building each time, and reliably returned to previous releases to keep on delivering new tech options? They’re at it again with PS5 Pro, and long may it continue!

Sit back in your favourite armchair, brush down that dusty controller, and put on your glasses – no, not the ones for far away, the ones for reading – while I tell you a story about the days of yore. In my time, and probably your time, games came out that were ground-breaking, earth-shattering and occasionally even fun. Lots of people bought and played those games, and they became cemented in our psyches, like a good book, or that random interaction with a stranger seven years ago where you said “Hurgle” instead of “Hello”.

Like all good RPGs, has a plethora of quests to keep Rook and the team busy in between intense story moments, as well as some sneakily hidden unmarked quests. However, while quests within the main storyline are clearly marked for importance, there is one side quest that really should have been included. In fact, skipping this one quest can mean missing out on perhaps the best ending for the game and the fate of Thedas.

A pair of NPCs found in pose the perfect premise for a quest, which can make the fact that no such quest actually exists somewhat disappointing. Hyrule is full of interesting characters with their own lives, and the side quests in recent titles expand on both these characters and the world around them, making the world as a whole feel more alive. However, has arguably missed at least one brilliant opportunity when it comes to its own side quests.
