While PC hardware and peripheral maker Corsair has previously indicated that Grand Theft Auto 6 might come to PC in early 2026, the company has now revealed that this was speculation on its part.
Speaking to IGN, the company has confirmed that it does not have details about the PC release of GTA 6, and has not gotten any details about it from either developer Rockstar Games or publisher Take-Two Interactive.
Speculation arose when Corsair Gaming’s finance VP Ronald van Veen spoke about revenue projections for the next year during its recent earnings report.
During the report, van Veen speculated that, while GTA 6 will be coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in Fall 2025, the PC release might only be slightly later, in early 2026. “Yeah, GTA 6 is probably the one everyone is talking about,” said van Veen during the earnings call. “And we’ll get a glimpse of that, I think, later on in the year for console.
My understanding now it’s going to come out in the fall for console, and then early 2026 for PC.” Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick himself has been quite cagey about the PC release of GTA 6.
