One of 's most intriguing mechanics is New Game Plus, where players unlock new sets of Starborn armor on each new playthrough after beating the game.
The Starborn are cosmic entities who are later revealed to be humans who have passed through the Unity. The Unity grants all who pass through it access to the multiverse, and anyone who enters it leaves behind their original universe forever.
While entering the Unity and becoming Starborn is optional for those who have unfinished business in their universe, it's the only way to progress the game to New Game Plus.
Stepping into the Unity in will take the player to another universe which is set at the beginning of the game, thus starting the first New Game Plus playthrough.
It also unlocks the first of 10 sets of Starborn armor, each with different looks and stat bonuses for the new multiversal travelers.
