Dragon Age: The Veilguard Gets Recommended Levels for Side Quests in Latest Update

BioWare has released a new patch for its recent RPG Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The update, dubbed patch 5, brings with it a host of bug fixes, as well as a major new quality-of-life change.

On starting the game, players will notice that side quests now have recommended levels attached. This was done in an effort to prevent players from accidentally taking on a side quest they might have gotten much earlier in the game, but which has higher level enemies than the player is able to handle.

Aside from that, the patch largely revolves around bug fixes, with issues like clipping on Taash’s Rivain’s Legacy armor, a typo on a note in Dock Town, and an issue with a puzzle in the Converged City area of the Crossroads getting fixed.

For more details, check out the complete patch notes below. The game director behind Dragon Age: The Veilguard had recently left the company after having worked at EA in some capacity for almost two decades.

The director stated that her decision to leave the company came about because she got an opportunity she “couldn’t turn down” to work on a new CRPG.
