Guardians of the Galaxy 3 Adam Warlock Actor Confirms SDCC Appearance

As the event kicks off, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3's Adam Warlock actor Will Poulter confirms his San Diego Comic-Con appearance. Poulter is making his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in the upcoming film as Warlock, the super-powered being created by the Sovereign with the objective of hunting down the Guardians after they humiliated them in the previous film. The Midsommar actor is one of multiple stars making their MCU arrivals in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, with Peacemaker's Chukwudi Iwuji and The Suicide Squad's Daniela Melchior reuniting with writer/director James Gunn alongside Borat 2's Maria Bakalova and Superstore's Nico Santos.

In addition to the MCU newcomers, the ensemble cast for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will see the returns of Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldaña as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha, Sean Gunn as Kraglin and Sylvester Stallone as Stakar. Development on the MCU threequel has taken longer than most due to a combination of COVID-19-related delays and Gunn briefly being dismissed from the project by Disney and going on to work on The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker for Warner Bros. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 got back on track earlier this year as filming finally concluded after seven months and now audiences have exciting news regarding the threequel.
