The long-awaited Cuphead animated show is finally coming to Netflix, and it appears the program is going to be arriving at the streaming service a bit sooner than people expected. A new trailer for The Cuphead Show dropped on Tuesday morning and along with plenty of cartoon hijinx, the release date for the series was announced.
The series two main characters, Cuphead and Mugman, first became popular in a platformer that first came to the Xbox and PC and then eventually made its way to the PlayStation. The Cuphead game became popular, in part, because of its graphical approach that uses hand painted cells to bring a "cartoon from the 1930s" vibe.

From the latest trailer, it appears as though Netflix's Cuphead show is going to capitalize on the same approach. The new trailer shows off the two main Cuphead characters getting into a wide variety of crazy adventures. It also features how the two characters are going to talk, and it should come as no surprise that they seem to have a kind of "old-timey" sound to them as well, considering what the general theme of the show is supposed to be.
The new trailer also seems to show some action from the first episode of this new version of Cupheadand his adventures. The first episode will see Cuphead and Mugman tangle with the actual devil, who also happens to be a character in the video game. That first episode is apparently going to see the pair head into a Carnevil, which is actually just a trick set up by the devil to lure them in.
The trailer shows plenty of other action is set to unfold in this 10-episode season. Tru Valentino will take on the role of Cuphead while Wayne Brady is set to voice King Dice. What
