Kirby and the Forgotten Land is the biggest game to ever hit the franchise, both in terms of scope and in terms of file size.

The Nintendo eShop listing reveals Kirby and the Forgotten Land to be on the larger size for a Nintendo first-party game. You’ll need 5.8GB of storage space on the Switch to download the digital version of the game. This makes Kirby and the Forgotten Land bigger than every other Kirby game ever made.

Admittedly, that’s not hard when the vast majority of Kirby games were made for various generations of GameBoy. As noted by Nintendo Life, the next largest Kirby game was Kirby Star Allies for the Switch at 4GB. Before that, Super Kirby Clash and Kirby Fighters 2 were both about 1.1GB. Super Mario Odyssey, a game that’s comparable to Forgotten Land in size and presentation, is around 5.6GB.

The 17th mainline Kirby game and the first to feature a fully 3D environment, Kirby and the Forgotten Land tasks everyone’s favorite pink puffball with rescuing the Waddle Dees from the ferocious Beast Pack.
