I was so looking forward to opening this review with ‘Void Sols? More like Avoid Sols!’ and then going down in history as the funniest game critic who ever lived.

But then the selfish developers of this smart little soulslike had to spoil it all by making yet another great game in everyone’s favourite/most inescapable genre.

Boo! You play a little white triangle, which I like to imagine is the ship from Asteroids after a very unfortunate crash landing.

Because a sinister collection of bitter shapes occupy this land, seemingly having deserted the Geometry Wars to spend around a dozen hours trying to slay you instead.

Avowed – Minimum PC Requirements Revealed
Avowed is still a little over three months away from its launch, which means it’s going to be a while before Obsidian Entertainment is ready to reveal the game’s full system requirements on PC, what with plenty of optimization still left to be done behind-the-scenes. That said, in a post on Xbox Wire, the developer has revealed the upcoming action RPG’s minimum system requirements- and they’re not terribly demanding.

The Rogue Prince of Persia, the aptly named Prince of Persia roguelike from longtime Dead Cells steward Evil Empire, is gearing up for its Second Act update, and it's probably one of the biggest updates I've seen for any game all year. The "game content will double," Evil Empire says, and the core art style, which once rendered our titular hero as the glorious Prince of Purple, is getting an overhaul.
