Shin chan: Shiro and the Coal Town shipments and digital sales top 300,000

Total shipments and digital sales for Shin chan: Shiro and the Coal Town have surpassed 300,000 units worldwide, publisher Neos and developer h.a.n.d.

announced. Shin chan: Shiro and the Coal Town first launched for Switch on February 22, 2024 in Japan, followed by May 2, 2024 in Asia, and for Switch and PC via Steam on October 24, 2024 worldwide.

Going forward, Neos aims to expand sales through ongoing promotions and campaigns, with a focus on the Japanese and Asian markets, while also releasing a physical edition of the game in North America in May.

Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & The Envisioned Land Might Be the Series' Coziest JRPG Yet – Hands-On Preview

After over two dozen mainline games, I can only imagine how difficult it must be to innovate and stay relevant in an era where a great game is coming out every few weeks, but that’s exactly what KOEI TECMO aims to do with the next entry in its long-running Atelier JRPG series, Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories and the Envisioned Land. After spending over six hours gathering resources, doing Sailor Moon-esque magical dancing rituals, and riding around on a motorbike, I’m inclined to believe they’ll pull off just that, yet again. With more engaging combat, improved visuals, more convenient crafting, and an entirely new building system that lets you put your own personal touch on the world, there’s quite a bit to be optimistic about, even if what I saw of the story and characters was, at least so far in the opening hours, pretty boilerplate stuff for the genre.

In terms of ratings, Overwatch 2 could not have released at a worse time on Steam. The hero shooter's online reputation was in the toilet after Blizzard spent years talking up all the cool PvE and campaign missions the sequel would have, only to deliver a fraction of them extremely late and eventually cancel the rest. So when the free-to-play game finally came to Steam in August 2023, it was summarily dunked on with tens of thousands of negative reviews. In 2025, Overwatch 2 rests at an «Overwhelmingly negative» Steam rating with over 300,000 reviews.

2XKO fans despair for a 2025 release as Riot pushes back a planned 'larger-scale global playtest' in favor of a 'much smaller one'

We still haven't really had a proper look at 2XKO, Riot's League of Legends-based 2v2 fighting game, and it sounds like that's a state of affairs that's going to continue for a while yet. In a message posted on Reddit, 2XKO game director Shaun Rivera said plans for a global playtest in March have been pushed back, and instead it's going for something «much smaller» as developers continue to work on the game.
