Team Ninja has announced an update for Ninja Gaiden 2 Black that will bring with it a host of new features. The studio took to social media platform X to announce the next update, while also revealing details about the latest version 1.0.6.0 patch.

There will also be balance changes in the update. This update is slated for release some time in February. As for the latest update, it has been released on PC (Microsoft Store version) and Xbox Series X/S.
The update fixes a bug where players could not find DLSS and XeSS options for super resolution type. The update also fixes a progression-blocking bug that prevented players from progressing after defeating certain bosses.
Ninja Gaiden 2 Black was shadow dropped earlier this month during Microsoft’s Developer_Direct. The game, available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, can also be played through a Game Pass subscription.
