ASUS X670E Motherboards Receive Official AGESA 1.2.0.2 BIOS Update, New Features & Improved AMD Ryzen CPU Performance

ASUS X670E motherboards have transitioned to the official AGESA 1.2.0.2 BIOS firmware, fixing several bugs & improving performance.

Several ASUS X670E motherboards are now out of the Beta phase for AMD AGESA PI 1.2.0.2 ASUS motherboards were the first to receive the AGESA PI 1.2.0.2 beta BIOS update on 13th September, which was followed by other motherboard vendors such as MSI, which rolled out the AGESA 1.2.0.2 for several AM5 motherboards in the previous week.

Yesterday, several ASUS X670E motherboards came out of the Beta phase. Apart from the 105W mode, there are several changes brought to the platform for stability. These include fixing the EZ-Flash rollback BIOS failure under certain conditions, EC firmware update from 0119 to 0120, improved system performance, and fixing several bugs.

The previous BIOS 2401 was in the Beta phase with AGESA PI 1.2.0.2 update and although it supported the 105W mode, the BIOS 2403 officially makes the performance optimized out of the box.
