Elliot Page, the star of Beyond: Two Souls, has had his Pageboy Productions company acquire the rights to create a TV show based on the game.The series is now in early development and will follow Jodie, a young woman tied to a mysterious ghostly entity called Aiden, who gives the pair supernatural powers.
The show will follow the game’s non-linear narrative, jumping through different periods of Jodie’s life from early days where she first encounters Aiden, to encounters with the military and other forces.The game starred Page and veteran actor Willian Defoe who played Nathan Dawkins, a scientist specialising in paranormal activity.
He works with his associate Cole Freeman and tries to understand Jodie’s powers while also acting as a surrogate father figure.“Filming the game was one of the most challenging and fulfilling acting experiences of my career,” Page said. “The story’s rich narrative and emotional depth offer us a fantastic foundation.
