Plunderstorm is back in Patch 11.0.7, with a brand new Practice Mode to help you find your feet in the 60 player Battle Royale! Although not yet testable on the PTR, we can see the new mode alongside Solo and Duo play, which will presumably allow players to familiarize themselves with the game mode's unique controls and interface.
Plunderstorm now features a practice mode, though queuing as a team of three is no longer available.
No More Trio?
Funny enough, the Practice button is using the Trios icon, and the three-person queue no longer appears to be available. Added
shortly after the launch of Plunderstorm this past March, Trios created a new dynamic for more group oriented players, though the additional format also further segmented the playerbase.
It's unclear whether this removal is intended in order to maximize available players in the two main queues, or if like the original release, trios will be added back again sometime after launch.
