Baldur's Gate 3's Astarion Sounds Like Stewie Griffin, Fans In Agony

Do you ever hear something that ruins your life so much that you absolutely must share it with others, so that they might also know your pain? Well, that's exactly what I'm doing right now, because some Baldur's Gate 3 fans are sharing that Astarion sounds just like Stewie from Family Guy, and I don't see the point in anything else anymore.

That's right, the hot vampire dude we're all down bad for sounds just like an animated baby voiced by Seth MacFarlane. Understandably, this has disturbed fans everywhere, who are desperately trying to un-hear the similarities. But to make matters worse, it's also being pointed out that he's like a weird combo of that and Prince Charming from Shrek too. We can't win.

The comparison was made almost immediately after launch but has started to really spread now, as so many Baldur's Gate 3 fans go feral for Astarion. Some people just felt like knocking us down a peg, I guess.

Because many Astarion fans eat delusions for breakfast ("Evil Astarion still loves me!", being a personal favourite), they're doing a good job of trying to ignore this. But it's kind of hard to when it's so, so accurate.

Oh, and to make matters worse, some are pointing out that he sounds even more Stewie-esque in an animated short from Mashed. I hate it here. Can everyone stop saying this now, please?

Somehow, this actually isn't the only awful Astarion-related revelation made in the Baldur's Gate 3 fanbase this week.
