With the ongoing Season 4, many fans are already wondering about the. The DC series follows Harley Quinn’s adventures after her break up with the Joker. She makes her way to become the new ‘Queenpin’ of Gotham and finds love elsewhere. But will she be back for another season?
Here’s all the Harley Quinn Season 5 release date information we know so far and all the details on when it is coming out.
At the moment of writing, Harley Quinn Season 5 hasn’t been greenlit, and Season 4 hasn’t even ended (finale on Sept 14, 2023). But there’s a great possibility for it to happen. While speaking with Inverse, Harley Quinn producers Ian Hamilton and Cecilia Aranovich Hamilton discussed the series’ future.
Cecilia Aranovich Hamilton said:
“Nothing has been communicated directly to us. As far as we know, he [James Gunn] likes the show. You know, he was in it. [Laughs] So we assume he’s a fan of the show. We don’t know exactly where we’re going to go from here… We hope that Season 4 is successful and the fans really like it and James Gunn likes it, and we can continue exploring this universe, but this is all we know so far.”
Considering that the series is loved by the fans, critics, and even the DC Studios co-president James Gunn, it’s likely that the series will be renewed for the next Season. Since no development has happened yet, predicting when it will arrive will be tough. There’s a slight chance for the creatives to be able to pull off a release in late 2024. But a release in the first half of 2025 is the more realistic option if Season 5 is renewed later in 2023.
