Netflix has finally revealed the Knives Out 3 release window and a new photo for, which serves as the next installment to Rian Johnson’s acclaimed murder mystery franchise. The photo provided fans with a new look at Daniel Craig’s return as Benoit Blanc. It also unveiled a first look at Golden Globe winner Josh O’Connor’s new character.
Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery is scheduled to premiere on Netflix in the Fall of 2025. The sequel will see Benoit Blanc facing his most dangerous case yet. Besides Craig and O’Connor, the star-studded cast also includes Glenn Close (Fatal Attraction), Josh Brolin (Dune), Mila Kunis (Luckiest Girl Alive), Jeremy Renner (The Town), Kerry Washington (Scandal), Andrew Scott (All of Us Strangers), Cailee Spaeny (Priscilla), Daryl McCormack (Peaky Blinders), and Thomas Haden Church (Spider-Man 3).
The third installment will once again be written and directed by Johnson, who previously earned an Oscar nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay for his work on 2022’s Glass Onion. Johnson is also producing the project alongside Ram Bergman. Besides the James Bond actor, the Knives Out franchise has starred several A-listers, including Jamie Lee Curtis, Ana de Armas, Chris Evans, Toni Collette, Edward Norton, Dave Bautista, Janelle Monáe, and Kathryn Hahn.
