Dungeons & Dragons Star Reveals Her Character Initially Had Canine Teeth

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves star Sophia Lillis reveals that her character had canine teeth in an early draft of the script. Directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is based on the popular tabletop roleplaying game that's been around since 1974. The film acts as a reboot of the Dungeons & Dragons movie series, which consists of three films, the most recent of which was released in 2012.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves stars Chris Pine in the leading role of Bard, while Michelle Rodriguez takes on the role of the Barbarian. A trailer for the medieval fantasy film was released this past weekend as part of SDCC, teasing plenty of action and comedy and adherence to the mythology of the original game. After starring in IT and I Am Not Okay With This, Lillis takes on the role of a tiefling Druid who can turn into an owlbear hero in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, with the trailer teasing the character's impressive transformation and combat skills.

In an exclusive interview with Screen Rant at SDCC, Lillis sheds more light on her character, revealing that an early draft of the script described her as having canine teeth. The teeth were eventually removed in a later draft. Still, Lillis hilariously explains that the production sent her the teeth they had made for her after she finished shooting. Check out Lillis' full comment below and Rodriguez's reaction to the story:

Sophia Lillis: «In the first draft of my character, I had teeth — like, canine teeth of sorts. That did not pass. But in the mail, a few weeks after I finished shooting, I got home and they sent me my teeth.
